John S. Alford

John S. Alford is a Covington, LA native and proud graduate of St. Paul’s Highschool and Louisiana State University. John is a personal injury attorney whose practice focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. John opened Broussard, David & Moroux’s Northshore office in January 2023.

Prior to Broussard, David & Moroux, John was an Assistant District Attorney in Orleans Parish from 2008 to 2013, and went on to work at the 22nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office from 2013 to 2018. As an Assistant District Attorney specializing in violent crime prosecution, John successfully tried over a hundred jury trials. In 2018, John focused his practice on representing victims of personal injuries.

John is a licensed attorney in Louisiana and Mississippi and a member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the 22nd JDC Bar Association and the Mississippi State Bar Association. John lives in Covington and loves spending time with his wife, Blair, and their four children.
