Scott Richard was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in political science and minoring in history. He attended law school at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and graduated cum laude in 2015. During his time at Loyola, Scott devoted much of his time to the moot court program, representing the law school in various competitions nationwide.
Following his admission to the practice of law, Scott gained valuable experience representing insurance companies as well as local businesses in a variety of actions, spanning from automotive collision defense to veil piercing actions and breach of trust claims. Through his diverse practice background, Scott has obtained significant knowledge which is particularly helpful in representing clients who have been seriously injured.
Scott’s practice is now exclusively devoted to helping those who have been seriously injured, including claims for personal injury and wrongful death arising from maritime/offshore accidents, trucking/18-wheeler accidents, automobile accidents, onshore/industrial accidents, and premises defects.
