Rachael P. Catalanotto is an accomplished attorney at Broussard, David & Moroux’s Northshore office with a primary focus in personal injury law. Rachael was born and raised in Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2003 and her Juris Doctor from Loyola College of Law, New Orleans, in 2007. She is a proud graduate of both in-state universities.
During her time in law school, she was a member of the Loyola Moot Court Executive Board, The Order of Barristers, the St. Thomas More Inn of Court, and Phi Delta Phi.
Along with her education and academic accolades, her professional accomplishments include her service as President of the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association in 2020 and as the Community Outreach Chair for the 22nd JDC Bar Association in 2017. She was Vice President of the 22nd JDC Bar Association in 2019 and is a founding member of the Safe Haven Foundation. Super Lawyers Magazine selected her as “Rising Star” from 2014 to 2020 and as a “Super Lawyer” from 2022 to 2024. She was recognized by Edge of the Lake Magazine in their “Top 40 Under 40” list and was named one of New Orleans Magazine’s Top Lawyers of 2021. In 2020, Rachael was appointed by St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper to the New Directions 2040 Steering Committee. Safe Harbor recognized Rachael as the Real Superhero of Safe Harbor in 2023. She is currently the Magistrate/Judge over Mandeville Mayor’s Court.
Rachael now resides in Madisonville, LA with her husband and two children. She continues to serve the local community with her involvement in nonprofits and political campaign roles.
